Car Air conditioning FAQs
Why are my vents blowing hot
Not all air condition problems can be fixed by a system re-gas. Sometimes there can be an underlying fault or leak that would cause that newly topped-up gas to evaporate. That is why we always check your system for a fault first, so when we re-gas your air conditioning you know you won’t have any unexpected surprises.
How long should my air condition gas last?
The general rule of thumb is that your vehicle’s air-conditioning needs re-gassing every two years. The reason for this is because it’s estimated that your car permeates between 10 – 15% of gas from the system every year; and that’s before you’ve even used it.
How do I know if my car air conditioning needs regassing?
The first sign that your AC is on its way out is that the air coming out of the vents feels lukewarm. If you can’t remember when it was last serviced, it’s probably time to get it checked out.
